Stacey is a theatre director, producer, and educator whose work centers on the power of imaginative storytelling to inspire empathy, curiosity, and hope. While she has experience directing a variety of theatrical genres, her passions are directing new plays and movement-based theatre. As a director, Stacey is drawn to works that explore movement, musicality, and the interplay between the physical and the poetic.
Her directing practice is grounded in rigorous textual analysis, research, and conceptual inquiry, resulting in productions that balance scholarly depth with bold theatricality. Stacey's rehearsals are marked by thoughtful precision and an infectious sense of play. She cultivates an environment where serious artistry and generous humor coexist, reminding collaborators that meaningful work and joy are never at odds.

Stacey is dramaturgically-minded and a champion of new voices and new narratives. She has guided both readings and fully realized productions through processes of discovery, collaboration, and refinement.
As an educator, she brings the same spirit of inquiry to the classroom. Her teaching values ensemble-based learning and collaboration, encouraging students to explore diverse methods of performance and creative problem-solving in a supportive, exploratory environment.
As a producer, Stacey has worked across the U.S. ncluding New York City, the Midwest, and Texas, broadening her cultural and artistic perspective. Her experience ranges from producing large-scale entertainment and immersive live events to developing podcasts and new play festivals.
Through all her work, Stacey's mission is to inspire empathy, a desire to learn, and hope through imaginative storytelling. Her practice centers on the communal exploration of what lies beyond ourselves. She believes theatre offers a unique space to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and plant seeds of discovery.
